While it's easy to fall into a go-go-go mentality and neglect re-charge time, many of us eventually hit that point where we need good catch up. So here we are, a list that I hope can inspire you to take that time you need and that you absolutely deserve.

It's the little things we do for ourselves that can really make a difference in our energy and mood. I challenge you to pick one of the following to do each day of your re-charge week. Let me know how it goes.

Optimize Your Space

Now that you hopefully have a break from the chaos, consider how your space impacts your routine. Sometimes we get so used to our rituals that we don't notice the areas we can optimize! This can be as simple as putting your cotton pads in a cute lil jar in our bathroom so they're easy to grab when taking makeup off. How can you arrange your space to optimize your day-to-day? If you find this resonates with you, I highly recommend listening to "making a comfortable space" on Anything Goes podcast with Emma Chamberlain. Emma talks making your space work for you in your own way through little elements of personalization.

Write It Out

Writing down a list of things on your mind that may be taking away from your energy helps to give them less power and look at each one objectively/ from a new perspective. I encourage you to read your entry back to yourself to further reflect and release what you dont have space for.

Media-Free Morning

I know, a break from socials can seem pretty unrealistic in today's climate. Especially when I'm busy, mindfulness of my screen time tends to go out the window. So, setting a small and attainable goal to break from devices can be a helpful recharge. Pick one morning over this next week to go media-free! It's no secret that social media can be an energy drainer when it's used in excess or for the wrong reasons. Removing this element even for just a lil period feels so freeing and helps to recognize the impacts it might be having for you.

Self-Care Spa Night

I'm talking a full skincare routine, face mask, eye mask, hair mask, your favourite PJ's, lemon water, & your fav podcast/ show playing while you do it. Enjoy xo

Make A Happy Playlist

Especially when feeling overwhelmed or a little lower, music is a powerful mood booster. Step 1: Browse through your library and pick out your happiest and favourite tracks. Step 2: Pick a cute name + cover photo for the playlist. Step 3: Blast it.
